Bethlehem Star Cafe

Posted in Restaurants at 8:46 am by Sheila OConnell

Breakfast and lunch in the Confetti Cafe’s old location

Main Street, Bethlehem

Hours: 8:00 – 4:00 Tues – Sat, 9:00 – 3:00 Sun.  Closed Mondays.

Rating, 3/21/14
Food:  Very good
Ambience:  Very good
Service:  Good
Positives:  Great renovation of the Confetti Cafe location, opened up the floor plan to allow more tables. Exposed wood and other architectural touches give a nice warm feeling without being too casual.  A nice variety of lunch menu options.  Soup, salad, sandwich and pierogies were all delicious.
Negatives:  This is not really a negative, but it is not a cheap place for lunch.  Good place to go for a special occasion or a treat.

Food:  Good
Ambience:  Good
Service:  Fair
Positives: Cute, cheerful, clean interior.  Pleasant server.  A good number of interesting menu items.
Negatives: Food was somewhat overseasoned.  Long wait time for food and for coffee refills due to not enough servers.
