Fruit Salad Dressing

Posted in Salads at 1:29 pm by Sheila OConnell

Ingredients:

1/2 cup plain lowfat yogurt (Not nonfat.  For that matter, never buy anything labeled nonfat.)

   2 tbsp brown sugar

   1 tbsp orange juice

Steps:

Mix orange juice, brown sugar and a few tablespoons of the yogurt until the sugar dissolves.  Add the rest of the yogurt and mix well.  The recipe makes enough dressing for about four large servings of fruit salad.

Fun idea:  add other things like nuts, raisins, dried cranberries, marshmallows, or diced fresh jalapenos to the salad along with the fruit.
